iPhone 5 and New iPhone

After the disappointment of iPhone 4, speculations have been raging in anticipation of the iPhone 5, not only because Apple is supposed to be the leader in next generation smartphones but because they have to compete and make up for the WiFi and antenna problems being experienced with the latest iPhone.

It is believe that the new iPhone 5 will be adopting a metal backplate to replace the glass-backed casing of the Apple iPhone 4, this is to avoid ruining your handset with spider-web cracks.

The logo will possibly be made of a resin material which will receive the handset’s Wi-Fi, cellular and all other antennas. It will be an internal antenna since the previous side bar one was being obstructed when being held 'wrongly' by callers.

The new iPhone is expected to include an A5 processor that’s based on a multi-core Cortex A9 chip, this will allow the iPhone 5 to run on both Verizon’s and AT&T’s network simultaneously.

The iPhone 5 features in the above image are supposed to represent how it will be thinner than the iPhone 4 and even sleeker than Apple’s iPod touch. Many regard the following photo of an iPhone 5 'digitizer' casing revealed by a Chinese seller suggesting that the next Apple handset will feature an edge-to-edge display to be a fake, but after so many people requesting a larger screen it is a massive probability.

One of the nifty features we can be expecting is the 'Face Recognition' option for unlocking your handset, since nobody else has the same face(except your twin brother) you will no longer have to worry about your girlfriend reading your text messages!

Many asked for more 'Facetime' on the new iPhone 5, Video Chat is likely to be on 3G and 4G and no longer restricted to WiFi, this means you can see your friends where ever you are on the move provided you can pay the price of the call.

A scratch proof and shock-proof screen, possibly crack-proof on the i Phone 5? this would be met with warm welcome from many smartphone users who try in vain to protect their phones by buying screen protectors from Ebay.

Many absurd iPhone 5 rumours are circling the internet and people should just sit back and wait until the likely iPhone 5 release date in June/July 2011, we have just had the unveiling of the iPad 2 so you know it is going to be a few months before anything else. Some of the ridiculous iPhone 5 rumours include:

• iPhone 5 can be attached into human wrists, and combined with a projector displaying what is onto the palm.
  

• iPhone 5 supports holographic technology displaying three-dimensional images

• iPhone 5 is supposed to incorporate the iPhone 'Procare' concept phone features such as transparency and flexibility.
  

Since an iPhone update was already made by Verizon to the iPhone 4, I dismiss the likelihood of a iPhone 4GS being released before the iPhone 5.

Many believe it could be smaller, however it would be more likely that an iPhone Nano would be released to compete with smaller android phones, the iPhone 5 is already believed to be only 9.3 mm thick and this is a promotional advantage in itself!

I wanted to leave with one last feature that many music lovers will love about this smartphone and will not be featured on HTC and Android phones and that is 'Wireless sync with iTunes'. This is great because now you can download all of your favourite songs on the move without the need for data cables!
