Toy Story 4 - Toy Story Part 4?

I have decided to return to my experimental hubs since everybody is suffering with low traffic recently and I thought I would discuss subjects everybody is eager to have news about, one of these is the possibility of a 'Toy Story 4' movie being released next year.

Everybody gets a rush from the latest showbiz gossip and Hollywood updates and these pages give me chance to unleash the inner journalist and paparazzi in me, although you cannot stalk fictional characters it is fun to be the columnist and layout the pages with witty images and taglines.

The rumours circulating the net and movie magazines indicate that a Toy Story part 4 is not in the making yet but Darla K Anderson a producer at Disney Pixar stated a number of Toy Story movie shorts were being made to accompany the opening credits on films such as 'Cars 2'.  There is no Toy Story 4 trailer but I included a great short movie that was edited by an amateur film maker and posted on Youtube below.

Since we have seen iconic images such as Woody holding the American flag so many times before in the Toy Story collection, I think it would have been ideally suited to release the film on July 4th. Everybody would sub consciously associate Toy Story with the American Dream because the manufacturing of toys is a key element of capitalism.

Since Anderson confirmed that the Toy Story shorts were being produced to keep the characters alive, we can only assume this means they want to make a Toy Story part 4 sometime in the not distant future.

Since the first ever Toy Story film with the introduction of 'Woody'(voiced by Tom Hanks) and the lovable Buzz Light Year who is the envy of the dated wooden cowboy, we have seen many other characters bring turmoil to the toy box including 3 eyed Martians, a T-Rex and even a 3D movie has made the film seem more action packed.

The latest installation to the Disney Toy Story collection was Toy Story 3 and this took the film in a different direction by questioning what would happen to the characters when their owner reached adolescence and went off to college. So far each movie has had a predictable plot and that being 'out with the old - In with the new', however they did experience what it was like to be adopted by some unruly daycare children who had no regards for the toys they did not own.

I can only express my predictions for what Toy Story 4 will entail, although I do hope it is not a plot line where the characters have to escape some angry pet or fight some toy soldiers!

My guess would be it would involve the Toy Story toys being sold in a yard sale and split up from one another, this would make for an original story where they had to once again try to find their friends, perhaps Buzz Light Year could Star and lead with one of the minor characters to try and find an injured 'Woody'. This would keep the film fresh since too much spot light on one character can make the film monotonous.
