Spring Shoes - Have a Spring Step

Choosing the Right Shoes for the Season
I have written a hub regarding choosing shoes for Spring time since it can be difficult knowing what type of materials to wear as your footwear. Spring shoes have to endure some rainy weather which means that might either get wet or be scuffed resulting in markings from the slushy mud that occurs after a downpour.
The are many other factors people take into account when choosing shoes for this time of year, this can be a particular style they wish to present to others or it can be down to personal comfort. Men and Women obviously have different types of footwear but some overlap in terms of shape and structure, for example, 'Espadrilles' are a type of slip on shoe usually made of a canvas type material.

Espadrilles
As you can see from the image to the right, the shape of Espadrille cannot be considered either masculine or feminine, the structure is also designed to give adequate coverage for Spring months where the weather could suddenly turn cold but it also doesn't not cover too much of the foot to cause sweating.
The second image you see to the right of the 'Blue Suede Shoes' are a style which is usually referred to as driving or boating shoes, they are a little more formal but ideal for Spring/Summer days when you are out a lot socializing but perhaps not doing any activity which would cause them to get dirty. The material is ideally not too thick to cause sweating but you should also be careful to avoid getting them to wet in the event of a rain shower.

Spring Shoes Store
There is actually a brand name called 'My Spring Shoes' which is based in Canada, whether their business model was based around the idea of of providing for this period of the year, I don't know, but I can tell you that they too provide a variety to suit the demands of peoples preferences.
For example, Spring time is the perfect time to do a lot of outdoor exercise and lightweight hiking boots are in popular demand at this time of year. Scarpa is a brand name in boots and they specialize in durable walking footwear, many of their hiking boots are constructed of layers mesh which allow your feet to breathe.

Wedges
Wedges are shoes which often leave a large portion of the front of the foot bare and have heel which extends from the back of the shoe right the way to the toe, this is different to most shoes where the 'heel' is positioned only at the back of the foot. These shoes are specifically for women and not only do they allow her feet to stay cool during the warmer spring months but they also make her look eloquent.

Don't forget the Kids!
Children are particularly difficult to choose shoes for during the Spring months of the year since the are always running about and jumping in puddles! However, there is no reason to fear because there are many ranges of 'Non-Skid' footwear.
Baby First Walker are a great brand of children's shoes and they provide a very spacious fit allowing your child's feet to remain comfortable during development and also during the warmer months of the year. This flexibility is achieved often using material such as cotton and even corduroy.
