The Ryder Cup
In this article I decided to give a summary of the Ryder Cup Wales, it is important to me because it is happening in my home 'city' Newport so I wanted to show any of my regular fans that I like to keep to my roots.
I have given a run down of a few big name golf player's both 'Ryder Cup Team UK' and 'Ryder Cup Team USA', I wanted people to recognize United Kingdom talent obviously because this is where I come from but I also wanted to accommodate for USA readers of my articles. I have also tried to show Ryder Cup Accommodation because what better than a person from Wales to explain to you the way around right? I have taken my own photographs of landmarks which will be easy to spot once you are near the Golfing center of Newport, 'The Celtic Manor Hotel'.
The Ryder Cup 2010 dates commence on the week starting 27th of September, this is a Monday and the actual tournament begins on Friday the 1st of October and is a Weekend full of Golfing climaxing on Sunday the 3rd.

Lee Westwood (Ryder Cup Team UK)
Lee Westwood is probably the most well known golfer on my list at present and I included him because he has been successful worldwide, winning trophies on the European Tour and the prestigious PGA Tour.
He hails from the UK town of Worksop, Nottinghamshire and has been playing Golf 23 years since he received a half set of Golf clubs from his Grandparents. This experience has lead him to remain within Top 50 of the Official World Golf rankings at 36 years of age.

Ian Poulter (Ryder Cup Team UK)
Ian Poulter is from another town in the UK called Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Poulter took up the game at an even earlier age of 4 when his father handed him a cut-down 3-wood. We can see that golfing was in Poulter's destiny because despite repeated adversities, he continued to follow his dream by paying his boss at a Golf shop the full green fee to play in competitions.
Poulter has made many memorable moments including winning the Italian Open, scoring the winning points for his team at the Ryder Cup 2004 and scoring a hole-in-one at the 2008 Masters tournament.

Phil Mickelson (Ryder Cup Team USA)
Mikelson is an American Golfer and is probably the most famous Golfer on my page, he won 4 major championships in the PGA Tour and reached the world ranking of 2nd in the years that followed. He originates from the city of San Diego, California and later enrolled at Arizona State University on a Golf scholarship which he graduated from in 2002.
He also has an unusual story of how he became involved in golf from an early age, however his is quite humorous because he imitated his father by using his left-hand to swing almost like a mirrored effect. he would naturally of been right-handed but the quality of his game has awarded him with the nickname 'Lefty'.

Ryder Cup Accomodation
A page shows the prices for each individual leg of tournament, which range from £100-130 or you can purchase a ticket to practice days which proceed the days leading upto the weekend and cost between £30-60.
If you wish to have series tickets there are a number of options which range between £140 to £430, or you can go for the luxury option of a International Pavillion ticket which is £930 and grants you unlimited access.
There is one thing you will need to note and this is that any applications for Ryder Cup 2010 tickets will be allocated via a ballot system, this means everybody who applies for a ticket will get an equal opportunity at getting a ticket because people won't be able to 'hog' them all using the 'first come, first serve' option which other events sometimes use.
