My Love Poetry and Romantic Poem

A Rose Poem
OK, so I finally decided to publish a poem of my own having read so many great ones by other hubers named Finikya and H.C porter. I think it is because poems can often be so short and easy for charlatans is why I never participated, but because I have come to recognize the great poets here on hubpages I decided I will put in the effort and create one which is deeply meaningful to me. The hub is about a long lost love of mine, well maybe not so much lost but definitely long ago and we haven't been on speaking terms for nearly 4 years now.
Please ignore the sub titles I included these are more for keyword purposes and also as little captions which give the photographs support, it is in fact one long poem.

Sad Poems
At first I was oblivious to what I had when we became friends
I was unable to make a move, you were in amongst the trends
Later I found out we were supposed to be
Then I was blinded all of a sudden by your physical beauty

Metaphor Poem
The desire to re-kindle the warmed I felt from your presence I could not refrain from
it was gone but I was not wrong, just mistaken
Now you keep me at arms length or ride on my back
I understand why you've let them change you to that

Romantic Poetry
Now I've gone and I know you wonder about me,
Is this a vicious circle or will you ever see?
I know it was sad that I cut all ties, but so is what you put me through
how can I live if all I do is look out for you?

Time Poetry
I know about your darkside but I need to hide more than you
Its a shame because you never really knew. I was of use
I could help you if you let me be
Regardless of what you think I deserve to be free

Life Poetry
To me you mirror at least 2/3 of my soul
but losing you cast a shadow which nearly blackened it whole
Its ironic what makes us different is actually something else I love about you
but its also something I need to avoid to start anew

Poem History
Now I cling to the good memories, as I'm sure you do
You remind me of the summer time we once spent and color in you
but there's an anger and grudge held
maybe one day you'll see where you stumbled and fell

This is a great circus of poetry! I once devised a whole set of lyrics and melodies to coincide with an album..it was to showcase my ability to do any type of genre, if you will. Never did get around to finishing the music side of it.
I like poetry that makes me think and this does.
I hope whoever you wrote this for gets to read it. I could tell this came from your heart although it sounds like it is a little beaten up. Good luck. Hope you are healing.
poems are a great release at times. Keep writing, and if you don't try to ryhme then you can be even more free with your thoughts.
yeah nicely put words! :)

Nice fragments and I like the way you have commercialised it for online use etc., so that it still works - you should do more.
