Google Algorithm Change

Although the Google algorithm change isn't new news for most serious internet entrepreneurs many people will exploit this news and add to exactly what this new rule was put in place to remove and that is duplicate content. There has been massive panic here within the Hubpages forum with high earners such as Ryan Kett expressing their unsettledness regarding the drop in traffic that the Google pagerank algorithm has primarily had in the first few days.

It does annoy me when I see that some bloggers still use 'copy n paste' content because it ruins the opportunity for real writers and hardworkers to make money online, I always thought it would result in getting banned on Hubpages but after hearing about the algorithm issue I have since learned this is not the case because they only receive a warning.

Your Google Traffic

I decided to give some genuine advice on how to retrieve the website traffic lost by the Google search algorithm change because my traffic has fallen by around 30% and any tips I have read in existing hubs published seem to be just speculative. The tips I read just suggest using other backlinking sources besides the likes of SheToldMe and Squidstop, but I wanted to offer an alternative method for saving your web traffic that doesn't involve climbing the search engine ranks.

You don't have to let your traffic 'go down the toilet' and I want to talk about some ways I harness regular hits from social bookmarking sites and video sharing sites because this will always remain constant as long as those sites don't go under.

Google SEO

Millions 'look up' to Google for their earnings or website traffic but it is important to have alternative 'fallback' income from another affiliate source such Amazon or a Redgage. Google still offers the same great revenue sharing program but after the Google ranking for content farms drops we have been told to that 11% of online publishers will feel the sting.

I have been prudently building up a large following of over 1000 on Twitter since I began writing articles, I also have gained around 400 subscribers on Youtube, 500 friends on Swom and bookmarked all my hubs with Stumbleupon, Digg and Onlywire.

Many people believe that using social bookmarking is a waste of time but a lot of people prefer to see images and short descriptions rather than follow a link in a 500 word introductory article.

Google Algorithms

So Google Algorithms need never effect your online performance ever again if you are wise and don't keep all your 'eggs in one basket'. I do believe that sites such as Hubpages and SheToldMe will take action themselves now to ensure that their earnings are not affected and will weed out copied content by themselves.

Other social networks that I use apart from Twitter to gain followers include 'Jaiku', 'Hictu' and 'Linked In' and I post at least 20 updates a day, it may appear spammy but if somebody wants to hear about your great topic they will read. Before I go I would it is also important that I recommend these Video sharing networks because they also combine the link sharing feature into their platforms, so take all of this on board and good luck!
