Firefox Web Browser

I enjoy making the funny hubs and I seem to have gotten a positive response on them, in this hub I wanted to talk about Firefox. I have noticed that pages appear on the search.conduit and Ask.com for 'Firefoxx' and this conjured up images of a web browser with 'sex appeal', a browser that has a cool image for young adults.

I think at present, Firefox is the most sought after internet browser because it receives 30,400,000 global monthly searches compared to Google Chrome's 16,600,000 and Opera gets 11,100,000.

Everyone knows that with a personalised homepage, Google were one of the first to customise their search engine background pictures but you also probably know that browsers now come with skins and my favourite two that Firefox offers are The Chinese Coy fish one and the metallic futuristic one!

FoxFire

I have included lots of photographs of 'foxy ladies' in this hub because they are also fans of Firefox, however, the first one in the capsule above is a still of Angelina Jolie in the Film Foxfire. There was also a Clint Eastwood movie in 1982 called Firefox which involved Clint stealing a Russian MiG 31 fighter plane.

Although we can see lots of fan mail for Firefox in the picture above, I have stumbled upon one Facebook page entitled 'FireFoxx' and this is in fact some negative feedback towards Virginia Foxx who is a Republican congresswomen from North Carolina. Virginia made comments regarding the murder of Mathew Shepard, saying the notion that it was a hate crime because he was gay was a 'hoax'. You may also come across this page and the reason behind its title suggests 'Fire Foxx'.

Web Browsing

FireFox originated from the Mozilla Application Suite which in turn was based on the source code of Netscape Communicator. The Mozilla Organisation has always had its own quirky logo characters such as the fire breathing dinosaur and the email and news reading client's blue 'Thunderbird'.

Firefox's cheeky little character is found adorable by many and has the advantage of capturing the surfing habits of 20-32% of internet users on the 'fun' logo alone, since a large percentage of users aren't internet savvy.

GetFireFox

Some people love FireFox so much that there is even a website called SpreadFireFox They offer an Affiliates reward program for referring other people and if you have more than 5 downloads per quarter you are automatically in with the chance of winning a Flip Video Camera, an iPod Touch, iPod Nano, amazon Gift certificates and cool Firefox t-shirts!

I hope this hub has given you some entertainment and possibly converted you to 'GetFireFox', still not convinced? see what the True FireFox is capable of below!
