Do you Hate the Boss?

I decided to write an article about people who hate the boss at their job because I figured it was quite a popular topic, I also thought it was quite funny because we've all been there before and usually its people we don't even know outside of work but everybody is thrown together and are all at the job just to make a 'crust'

I wanted to talk about reasons why people get agitated such as 'the boss makes more money', 'the boss hates me!', 'the boss is a nag' and 'the boss is an idiot'. The latter description is highlighted well in the TV show which originated in the UK with Ricky Gervais as the star, I think Gervais represents the average annoying boss best because not only is he arrogant like the U.S version, but he also overweight, thinks highly of himself, intolerant and says bad jokes.

Many people work jobs they don't particularly like to earn money while they search for something better or something they enjoy more, do you find yourself smiling and being a yes-man just to make ends meet? don't worry, everybody has been there and you don't have to feel dishonest.

Hating your boss is natural because they are the ones giving you the orders to work hard for that small wage, however, think that if you were outside work you would probably be less tense so remember that and just get on with the job!

Why Hate my boss? As I have mentioned in the latter paragraphs, I wouldn't really hate my boss for instructing me to work, however you will get the obnoxious type like David Brent in the office who will try and manipulate you and look down at you but others will try and treat you as friends.

It can be frustrating when they are condescending but you just need to rise above it, do you work and continue with your plans, remember 'you are aiming for higher ground!'

If you hate your job it might annoy you when you are invited to 'works nights out', remember, you don't have to feel anti social if you decline to go because you have a job so that you can fund your life outside of work. You are not obliged to become part of any 'family' , you only have to show an interest and be polite and this might mean going on the occasional night out at your convenience.

Remember that you don't have to spend your time hating your job, don't be bullied into living your life around what other people want you to do, it is your time and you should plan your life at your own pace.
