BlogTV & Live Video

Recently I discovered a pretty nifty website called BlogTV and it streams live videos via webcam from anyone across the world who wishes to engage with the viewers of their channel because there is a chat room function to the right of the 'livevideo' window.

I was quite surprised that not many people had heard or hubbed about BlogTV on their profiles here at Hubpages, I even wrote a forum post to ask anybody if they had a channel but nobody has so I decided to write this hub in case anybody wants to chat there about any of my writing.

There are opportunities to earn revenue on BlogTV by displaying Adsense advertisements and the usual type of TV ad that you would have seen implemented on Youtube recently. The guidelines state that you must have at least 10,000 views per month across all of your videos, this includes live, recorded and profile advertisements.

You don't have to have a pro account to earn revenue but if you pay the yearly fee of $24 you won't have to see advertisements before live broadcasts or recorded videos. The minimum payout is $100 but you must earn $200 within a month of which BlogTV gets a 50/50 share.

I forgot to mention that the default image for this hub was actually a screen shot of a BlogTV channel I was watching where the host was Airbrushing onto clothing! I even subscribed to one channel where a New York girl was rapping everything people type, she is called Juneskii and she will also draw things that people type because this is also one of her games.

You will be able to see your total earnings within the first 7 days of each month and payments for any revenue earned will be paid via Paypal by the 10th of each month. If you particularly like a certain persons show you can give them gifts or pay for their Pro account.

One of the great things about BlogTV compared to other video sites and web chats is that you can Co-Host on another persons channel and instantly make friends with people from all across the world.

They have all the features of other community platforms such as the Facebook and Twitter buttons and this means you can keep in contact with the people you meet even when they are not broadcasting.

As well as being able to keep track of your favourite people you can also ban and 'kick' people out of your chatroom if they are causing trouble.
