Codes for Myspace

I have wittingly entitled this capsule 'codes for Myspace' but I am talking about codes of conduct, the way one must behave in order to fit into the Myspace scene. This is intended to be a humorous jab at the self conscious social networking generation, those who believe a person is defined by the photographs and status they display on a computer screen and is not representation of their real life persona.

I used to have a Myspace profile but now that it is less popular I am glad because I didn't really fit in there, I believe Hubpages is a better place for showing your true creative side. I used to try and display my artistic side by uploading Myspace backgrounds with my own drawings but people were more interested in chatting about dating etc. Don't get me wrong, I think that it is useful to be able to contact friends on Facebook and Twitter because they are a more direct with their messaging and don't hype up bands and supermodels on their front pages!

So is it true what they say? Is Myspace dead? Not according to Google keyword search tool which recorded 83,000,000 searches last month, however it was outdone by Facebook's staggering 200,000,000.

Myspace has recently revamped its image in an attempt to win more members back with a catchy new logo similar to this 'My[____]', and they have added similar features to Facebook, lets hope the Prince symbol thing works out for them.

I am glad because I wanted to produce a hub similar to my previous Facebook and Youtube articles that investigates impersonators that make false domains based off misspellings such as Mysap.com.

Myspce Login

Firstly I would like to recap for regular internet users who do not know much about online marketing about how I discussed money making schemes of webmasters who buy domains names such as Myspce.com and benefit when millions of visitors mis-type and click on advertisements within their pages.

For example, I have checked out the web address www.mysace.com and found a page with a list of advertisements for adult dating sites and even had a shocking pop-up appear. I have made it my job to find these sites and warn others to be more careful in their typing to avoid similar mistakes.

Remember, is it My Myspace? is it Yourspace? don't let them intrude on your recreational time online.

Another untrustworthy website I would like to warn you about is www.myspacce.com because this is similar to the Mysace one I told you about. It also bombards you with rude pop-ups, but who needs that when you have guys like the one above already posing half undressed on Myspace anyway?

On to a more interesting website called 'Myplace.com', this is in fact a social network which seems to have lots of fun applications such as 1-2-1 chat, Medium rare Radio, perspectives forums and even web hosting. However I was a little confused why it re-directed me to an alternative domain called Ourplace.com for the chat rooms.

Don't be left in the dark, find out what site your really visiting!
Don't be left in the dark, find out what site your really visiting!

Mysap.com actually redirects to a website called Sap.com and has nothing to do with social networking, S.A.P stands for systems, applications and products with data processing. Yes I know it sounds boring but it could be useful software if you run a business in I.T that needs professional organisation.

I have mentioned the most active domains trying to benefit from Myspace keyword mistakes, however many are simply static webpages with ads so don't be deceived if you land on pages such as Myspacee.com because they want you to inquire into their third party links but they cannot offer any official Myspace merchandise. Don't be fooled by offers of a 'Myspace Tracker', 'Myspace Music Codes' or 'Myspace Graphics'.

Hey- I discovered myspace back in 05 and I showed it to my (now ex) wife. She said it was stupid. 2 years later she met her current husband on myspace. Things might have been different for me if I hadn't.(like I might have still been stuck in that rut) R.I.P MySpace

Haha, yes I know, I think these Social Networks are made for the vain people to be honest...I much rather Hubpages where you can actually build your own respect rather than gaining popularity by simply posting snapshots of yourself! Thanks for commenting.
