OK, so the news is alerting today on the 23rd of July that 'Amy Winehouse found dead' in her flat in North London from a suspected drug overdose, although the police are reporting it as 'unconfirmed' at present. Obviously all her fans and people who have just heard her music know the lines 'They tried to make me go to rehab, I said no, no, no' and ironically this has lead to her untimely death at the young age of 27.

'Amy Winehouse dies' and the controversy in her continued drug use will be used by the media to slander the otherwise talented life that she lead, inspiring everyday people who's only comfort was clinging to her music that made its way into circulation on everyday radio with the popular cover of the Kook's song 'Valerie'

Despite the Amy Winehouse death, we can see in the glamorous photograph that she looks more beautiful than ever and older folks reading this please ignore the fact that she has tattoos, tattoos are a fashion statement and are no longer associated with criminals.

Amy Winehouse obviously had a drug problem but as somebody mentioned in the Hubpages forum, being rich and famous makes it highly likely that she would mix with some event organizers who these days seem to embrace drug taking because it benefits their entertainment industry. We must treat the Amy Winehouse death as a tragedy of someone who became a victim of the drug industry.

Now that we've heard the news 'Singer Amy Winehouse is Dead' we must try to learn from this and sympathize with the families of these victims. Amy Winehouse was living the life of stardom and the stress of being hounded by reporters and anybody who knows your appearance can actually be more of a burden than us ordinary folk can imagine.

Like the lead singer of the American rock band 'Tool', Maynard James Keenan explained his strange dress sense in an interview by saying 'I don't want to sell my appearance, I would rather people pay attention to my message'. But I digress... Amy Winehouse was just looking for a way to escape and wanted a normal life of a young person.

Someone wrongly stated in a forum that artists such as Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrisson all went down in history for dying of drug abuse, but I don't think the Amy Winehouse death will lead to this. Jimi Hendrix may be remembered by some ignorant people as a drug abuser, but the vast majority of people remember him as a musical genius and someone who entertained them with metaphorical lyrics. He was also voted in Rolling Stone magazine as 'World's greatest guitar player'.

Kurt Cobain admitted he had a drug problem and Amy Winehouse probably knew at heart she did as well. We must not discredit these wonderful and intellectual speakers because everybody has a weakness and a crutch in life whether we over eat or smoke cigarettes, nobody is perfect. In fact Kurt Cobain was also young, his image was twisted by MTV producers to appeal to the masses when he simply wanted to make music that outsiders could relate to.

Jimi Hendrix died from drowning in his own vomit after overdosing on drugs, this was also in the 60's when large influxes of drugs weren't being monitored by the government. He was well known for his song 'Purple Haze' but he obviously went to far with the liberal views of the era.

Before a lot of old timers start to criticize and say 'These musicians on drugs', don't you remember one of your favorite bands who made a little song called 'Yellow Submarine'? Yes, the Beatles were on drugs and that is widely known.

I am not condoning drug use, especially hard drugs such as Heroin and Cocaine, I in fact don't do drugs or even smoke because I know they are bad for your health but many people have experimented with light drugs such as Cannabis so lets not be hypocrites, lets just educate our youth about the possibilities of getting addicted to light drugs. Amy Winehouse wasn't well informed by her parents about the negative effects that over using drugs and gateway drugs can have.
